Preaching in a Rural Context

Revd Julie Bloggs will explore the unique challenges and opportunities of delivering effective sermons in rural communities.

Participants will discuss the cultural, social, and economic dynamics of rural life, considering how these factors influence the spiritual needs of congregations.

The session will highlight strategies for connecting with a close-knit community, addressing relevant local issues, and fostering authentic relationships through preaching. Additionally, it will offer practical tools for adapting sermon styles to reflect rural values and realities, ensuring messages resonate and inspire transformation in a rural setting.
