Children's Minister
Bramhall
Bramhall Parish Church is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Children’s Minister to help us put Jesus at the heart of our community.
This is an exciting opportunity to build on strong foundations and join a welcoming and growing church with a clear vision for Community, Inclusion and Discipleship.
The successful candidate will lead and develop our ministry amongst children and families, helping children encounter Jesus, grow in faith and become active members of church life.
You will inherit an established ministry including:
Weekly Children’s Ministry groups for children aged 0–11
Strong relationships with local schools
Holiday Club and seasonal outreach events
An enthusiastic volunteer team• A supportive staff team
We are looking for someone who:
Loves Jesus and has a passion for sharing faith with children and families*
Is able to inspire, encourage and develop volunteers
Has experience working with children, families or schools
Can build strong relationships both within the church and the wider community
Is creative, organised and able to work collaboratively
* There is an Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian, in accordance with the Equality Act. 2010.
Bramhall Parish Church is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and comply with Church of England safeguarding requirements.
