Wirral Foodbank is an independent charity, providing emergency food and support to the local community across Wirral.

We’re on the lookout for individuals to join our Board of Trustees, who have experience across several areas, including:

• Communications/Social media

• Governance

• Fund raising

• Safeguarding

• Church engagement

• Campaigning

As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Wirral Foodbank. Our Board of Trustees is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring sound governance, and overseeing financial and operational performance.

Trustees work alongside our management team, who lead the day-to-day delivery of services, to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, accessible advice to the people who need it most.

We are looking for individuals, who have a desire to help and support their local community, to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will be responsible for:

• setting the strategic direction of Wirral Foodbank

• financial and operational performance

• ensuring strong governance and regulatory compliance
