Clergy Housing

The Housing Department is responsible for all clergy housing (not church buildings) and a number of DBF owned property and all glebe land/property.
Housing plays a vital part in the ministry of clergy and the Housing Team together with the Houses and Glebe Committee endeavour to ensure that all those who occupy parsonage houses feel secure and comfortable in their homes allowing them to carry out their ministry work.
We will arrange to carry out repairs as required and undertake five yearly Quinquennial Inspections (QI’s) of all houses to check that they continue to be effective and suitable for purpose. We work within the constraints of a finance budget and consequently do need to prioritise works.
