Building Local Strategic Partnerships

Just-Ice Poynton 6.jpg

This priority looks within and beyond individual parishes, focusing on collaboration and shared mission. These partnerships might form between neighbouring parishes, across deaneries, or even between dioceses. They could include ecumenical ventures or joint projects with schools, chaplaincies, or charities working in the same area.

The goal is to foster cooperation, share resources, and develop opportunities for mission that no single church could achieve alone. This reflects Bishop Mark’s call for the diocese to be “guests as well as hosts” in mission — working generously alongside others and recognising where God is already at work.
