DBS Clinic
The May monthly DBS clinic at Church House, Daresbury will be on Monday 26 May 2026. Appointment slots are available between 09:30 and 15:30 (for up to a maximum of 45 minutes).
Please note this isn’t an all-day event or training day.
This clinic is aimed at providing support to:
Parish recruiters who want to come and discuss queries with DBS matters, or to go through the basics of how to use the 31:8 system*
Parish recruiters who need some guidance/help with doing their own DBS check if they are the only registered DBS recruiter for their parish and have no secondary recruiter to check their ID
Clergy whose DBS certificates are due for renewal and who need their ID checking
*If you would like an appointment to discuss DBS matters and are unable to make the journey to Church House, alternative arrangements can be made for a telephone/video call.
To offer this service to as many parishes as possible, the maximum appointment length will be 45 minutes.
Appointments will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If anyone wishing to make an appointment also has any safeguarding questions or concerns, please let us know in advance and we can arrange for a member of the Safeguarding Team to be on hand to answer your queries.
