Ministry Toolbox: A churchyard – blessing or curse?

“Ministry Toolbox” is a series of hour-long, bite-sized, stand-alone sessions delivered for clergy via Zoom on weekday lunchtimes. Each session takes a practical approach to a specific area of leading in ministry and mission. These are especially suited to those new to or looking towards incumbency, but any clergy are welcome to attend any session.

In this session the Diocesan Registrar Lisa Moncur, supported by the Clerk to the Registry, Jo Williams, will explore some of the legal matters surrounding management of churchyards, alongside the rich missional and pastoral opportunities that these places hold. Essential training or refresher training for any clergy ministering in a church with a churchyard.
