Church Works Summit 27 February 2026

The ChurchWorks Summit at Central Hall, Westminster on 27 February 2026 is an opportunity for parishes to see the bigger picture of how the Church can work alongside government and public services for the good of local communities.
For parish leaders and members, it is a chance to understand how national conversations about faith and public life directly connect with the needs on the ground, whether that’s supporting families in crisis, addressing loneliness, or responding to the growing challenge of mental health.
Throughout the day, attendees will learn about examples of proven models of collaboration between churches and local services including the NHS services and family hubs. There will be workshops showcasing case studies and practical resources and delegates will come away with new tools and inspiration to put into practice back home.
The Summit also offers a unique networking opportunity. Parishes will be able to connect with other churches, charities, and decision-makers who share a vision for community transformation. At The ChurchWorks Summit, your parish can learn from others’ successes, share your own experiences, and find encouragement that you are part of something much bigger.
The ChurchWorks Commission, chaired by the Right Revd Philip Mounstephen, Bishop of Winchester, brings together mainline church denominations, umbrella organisations, and Christian charities to collaborate with government and equip local congregations to transform the lives of the most vulnerable in our country and communities. It has a particular focus on tackling the wellbeing crisis, supporting vulnerable children and families to flourish, and tackling poverty.
