Kintsugi Hope Well-being Group

The diocese is running a course designed to help clergy explore how to maintain positive mental and emotional well-being in the midst of our busy lives
This is a valuable opportunity for clergy to invest time in nurturing their own well-being, with sessions covering a wide range of topics that impact our overall health. You may find this helpful if you are currently struggling in this area, if you want to set aside intentional time to support your well-being, or if you would like to experience the programme with a view to offering something similar in your own parish.More information about Kintsugi Hope groups can be found here: https://kintsugihope.com/groups
Kintsugi Hope groups typically run over 12 weeks. However, we recognise that this can be difficult for clergy to commit to. Therefore, we will be offering the course as three blocks of two-day residential sessions at Foxhill. Because this course is designed as a complete journey, we ask that participants commit to all the dates before signing up. Each block will include whole-group teaching, small group work, and time for personal reflection.
The sessions will be facilitated by Kintsugi Hope–trained group leaders from churches across the diocese.
The 12 sessions will cover: Honesty; Anxiety; Depression and Stigma; Shame; Anger; Disappointment and Loss; Perfectionism; Forgiveness; Self-acceptance; Healthy Relationships; Resilience; and Review & Celebration.
Dates:
9–10 March 2026
15–16 June 2026
21–22 September 2026
Participants must be able to attend all sessions. Overnight accommodation at Foxhill is available; please indicate when booking if you would like to stay.
Places are limited to 15, so please sign up promptly if you wish to take part.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of preparing broken potter with seams of gold. When brokenness is repaired, the object becomes more beautiful and unique than it was before. Instead of hiding the scars, it makes a feature of them.
