A Modern Witness Through Music and Dance
A student at Bishop’s Bluecoat High School in Chester, has combined his love for electronic music and his faith in Jesus Christ to create a powerful new composition brought to life in dance.

Seb’s journey began in computer games and as his faith began to grow, he felt called to combine his interests. Seb’s album, The Redeemer is a bold and heartfelt expression of the gospel, aimed at reaching people in a language they might not expect. It is a modern musical retelling of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, expressed through electronic soundscapes.
When Hana, the school's Christian chaplain, first heard Seb’s music she saw an opportunity to minister to the wider school community in a fresh and engaging way. She helped Seb take the project further by introducing a new element: interpretive dance.
What began as a personal act of worship became a school-wide mission. Students were invited—regardless of their background or beliefs—to participate in this retelling of the greatest story ever told. Roles like Jesus, Judas, and Mary Magdalene were brought to life not just through movement, but through prayerful reflection and collaboration. In stepping into these roles, many students found themselves engaging with the gospel in ways they never had before.
