Everyday Faith Podcast

Everyday Faith Podcasts bring together panels of local Christians to reflect on how their beliefs shape their lives.

Everyday Faith Podcast

Through honest and relatable conversations, they explore topics such as work, family, relationships, and community, offering real-life examples of how faith is lived out beyond Sunday services. The aim is to encourage, challenge, and inspire listeners by showing how ordinary people integrate their Christianity into the routines and decisions of daily life.

The panel guests for this event are:

Ian Gould-Jones, St Oswald’s, Bidston, Birkenhead Deanery. Ian is Head of Scheduling for the University of Law, which has campuses across the country and oversees.  He is open about being a Christian both in the workplace where he prays with others and in his poetry writing and performances.  Ian was brought up in Bidston and is still committed to serving this community.

Suzie Williams, St Mary’s Liscard, Wallasey Deanery. Royal Navy Officer, social worker and musician. In retirement, Suzie moved to Mariners Park in Liscard, a community for all seafarers.  She has been getting to know her neighbours and to care for them.  Suzie’s intent is to be obvious about why she does things, being plain about her Christian faith.

Sarah Bishton, Church Administrator, Christ Church, Moreton, Wallasey Deanery. Sarah came to faith after her daughter expressed an interest about knowing more about Jesus. She describes that at this time she did not have a faith. Sarah in now the church administrator, serves on the PCC and is a valued member of the church family at Moreton.

Ian Fair, Holy Trinity Church, Spital, Wirral North is a professional musician based on the Wirral. He is primarily a viola player in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, but is sometimes seen elsewhere playing the violin and electric bass! In addition to performing, Ian also teaches violin and viola and occasionally works as a sound engineer and producer.
