Ministry Toolbox: Marriage & the Law

“Ministry Toolbox” is a series of hour-long, bite-sized, stand-alone sessions delivered for clergy via Zoom on weekday lunchtimes. Each session takes a practical approach to a specific area of leading in ministry and mission. These are especially suited to those new to or looking towards incumbency, but any clergy are welcome to attend any session.

In this session the Diocesan Registrar Lisa Moncur, supported by the Clerk to the Registry, Jo Williams, will offer some refresher training on the legal aspects of arranging and conducting weddings in churches. This builds on the training offered to deacons in their first year, and is recommended for any clergy conducting weddings.
