Lay Gathering 2026

The date has been released for the 2026 Lay Gathering which will take place at Chester Cathedral for lay people across the diocese, resourcing and encouraging people to live out their faith in the world and the church.

Together in Christ sharing hope, working together to transform our communities will be a mix of worship, keynote talks from Bishop Mark and seminars across the day, as well as time to mix and meet others.

For the first time, this will also be accessible digitally, both live and after the event. Invitations and posters will be sent out to parishes.
