Operations Co-ordinator
Wilmslow
To lead, manage and coordinate the operational, administrative, and practical functions of Wilmslow Parish so as to support mission, worship, pastoral ministry, and community engagement. The Operations Co-ordinator will ensure our buildings are well used and maintained, our services and events are effectively planned, and our staff and volunteers are equipped to serve well.
Wilmslow Parish is a welcoming and active Church of England parish seeking to serve our community with generosity, hospitality, and hope. Across our churches and community spaces, we host worship, ministries, and help host a wide range of activities for all ages.
To support our mission, we are looking for a highly organised and capable Operations Manager (Part Time Equivalent 0.6 or 0.8) to strengthen our administration, coordinate our operations and events, and help the parish function smoothly and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, improving and running processes well, and enabling others to flourish.
You will work closely with ministry team, staff, and volunteers to ensure that our events, services, and administrative systems are well managed. You do not need to be an expert in every area of parish life — but you will need to enjoy people, problem-solving, improving systems, and coordinating activities with clarity and creative communication. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
While the post does not require the post-holder to be a practising Christian, a good understanding of and a sympathy with the mission, worship and values of the Church of England is essential.
