Book Safeguarding Training

How to access and complete safeguarding training
The Diocese of Chester is committed to promoting and delivering high-quality safeguarding training for all clergy, those in training, employees and volunteers within the Diocese and Parishes.
The Church of England's Safeguarding Learning & Development Framework provides guidance on safeguarding mandatory training requirements and best practice, along with details of the various learning pathways currently available.
Parishes should ensure that all church officers and volunteers are trained to the correct level. It is the responsibility of both the individual and the PCC to ensure these criteria are fulfilled. Renewal of training is at a minimum of every three years.
If you have any questions or difficulties, please contact the Diocese Safeguarding Training Team at training@chester.anglican.org
