Employee Assistance Programme

The Diocese of Chester has partnered with Health Assured to provide a confidential Employee Assistance Programme for Church House employees and parochial clergy – stipendiary and SSMs (although clergy are not technically employees).


The EAP provides a free 24-hour helpline, as well as proactive advice on such matters as family issues, legal information, financial information, stress and anxiety, bereavement and addiction issues. Members can also access up to 6 counselling sessions per year.


The EAP Leaflet includes a handy cut-out wallet card containing the information.
