Interim Diocesan Secretary and Safeguarding Update

Sean Augustin, Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, has been appointed to the position of interim Diocesan Secretary for an initial period of 6 months. In order to fulfil the duties of this role, he has laid down his safeguarding responsibilities for this interim period. Lynn Everton, currently Deputy Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, has been appointed as Interim Diocesan Safeguarding Officer for the duration of the period.

Sean said: “I am delighted to take on this increased responsibility. I have handed over all safeguarding responsibilities to Lynn Everton who will be able to provide a continued safeguarding service and provision for the diocese. These changes will take effect from Monday 23 March.
