Bishop Mark licensed 6 new Readers, 4 new Pastoral Workers and one new Licensed Lay Worker, as well as giving new licences to 4 Readers transferring to new parishes at a service at Chester Cathedral on 12 October 2024.

Licensing of Lay Ministers

Bishop Mark licensed 6 new Readers, 4 new Pastoral Workers and one new Licensed Lay Worker, as well as giving new licences to 4 Readers transferring to new parishes at a service at Chester Cathedral on 12 October 2024.


We also celebrated the ministry of 9 Readers and 2 Pastoral Workers receiving Permission to Officiate and gave thanks for the ministry of 2 Readers and 1 Pastoral Worker moving to Emeritus status. Their names and parishes are below.
