Visualising Mark's Gospel

Tom Grant from Proximity, attended the Urban and Estates Mission and Ministry Network meeting at St Bert’s Church Cafe, Norton Hill and shared details of Proximity resources.
Do you know about Mark’s Gospel Devotional?
Through facilitated conversions and the use of QR Codes small groups can explore Mark’s Gospel using Proximity’s Mark’s Gospel Devotional. This resource was developed for those on estates who are hungry for scripture, but who might be daunted by reading the Bible. It features a daily video from Matt Britton, an actor and storyteller who has memorised the whole of Mark’s Gospel, alongside a simple, thought-provoking devotional. The videos can be accessed via a QR code which is available through the resource booklet. Matt is an actor, writer, and theatre-maker, often staging theatre for audiences and participants with restricted access to the arts. Committed to social change, his inclusive projects see him working in prisons, estates, and with those identified at risk of offending.
Tom also shared two further resources. Reach Mapping, a simple but powerful way for congregation members to identify the people God has placed in their lives so that they can pray for them and share their faith with them. Mission mapping a resource to help parishes to get to know their community better and plan how to walk alongside or create new projects that serve their local area.
