Welcome Abby Cooper
Abby Cooper has joined the Outreach team at Church House, covering for Katy Herrera as Families, Children and Youth Adviser
Abby introduces herself:
"I developed my faith as a teenager, through the team parish in Macclesfield and the diocesan youth events. Having volunteered as a young leader I knew I enjoyed youth work. I have worked a charity youth worker and then a church youth worker. I now live on the Welsh Border, I’m married to Stephen and have 2 daughters. Most recently I have worked in a day nursery as a preschool teacher. I am an ex-rugby player who now enjoys walking with my dog, camping and wild swimming.
"I’ve really enjoyed my first few days in my new role and I’m looking forward to meeting people finding out about some of the wonderful things that are happening in parishes across the diocese. I’m also excited to train and enable other people to deliver great youth work in their parishes."
