Incumbent

Hoylake

St Hildeburgh, Hoylake is seeking a priest to minister to this vibrant suburban parish of central tradition, located on the north coast of the Wirral peninsula. The parish is very actively involved in its community, including for example the local lifeboat and the church school. A well-appointed vicarage is provided.

The parish is seeking an incumbent who will:

  • Help us grow the church in Hoylake.

  • Encourage the congregation to live out their Christian faith in daily life.

  • Work closely with the PCC to develop and implement strategies to facilitate our development as a parish.

  • Work with the Churchwardens, Treasurer and PCC to ensure our financial sustainability going forward.

  • Seek to use St.Hildeburgh’s church as much as possible as an open, welcoming space for anyone in need of prayer or spiritual support.

  • Retain and develop a close relationship between the parish and Holy Trinity school.

  • Foster and maintain a strong safeguarding culture.
