Vacancy

Incumbent

St Catherine's, Tranmere

St Catherine, Tranmere

We are seeking a full-time incumbent for this inner-urban parish of evangelical tradition in Birkenhead.

The successful candidate will be a Jesus-centred and prayerful pastor and teacher who loves God’s Word and God’s people of all ages and backgrounds.

You’ll be a clear, engaging Bible communicator, comfortable with informal and all age settings; a teambuilder who identifies and develops gifts; evangelistically warm and community minded; and someone who owns and champions safeguarding. We value administrative resilience, thoughtful use of technology, and a good sense of humour.

You will enjoy this role if you:

·         Have an infectious enthusiasm for gospel ministry and can equip others in witness.

·         Can grow small groups and one-to-one discipleship alongside gathered worship.

·         Are collaborative, developing volunteers and emerging leaders.

·         Can cultivate a whole church culture of welcome, follow up, prayer, and pastoral care.

Closing date:                       Sunday 4th October

Interviews:                         Thursday 22nd October
