Currently Assistant Priest at Willaston, Christ Church (0913), in the Deanery of Wirral South, and Bishop’s Officer for Self-Supporting Ordained Ministry, to also be Honorary Canon in the seat dedicated to Thomas Wilson, at the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary at Chester, with effect from 12 October 2025.
BOYDE Briony (Bee) Alice
Currently Vicar of the parish of Sandbach (1318), in the Deanery of Congleton, to also be Rural Dean of the Deanery of Congleton, with effect from 6 November 2025.
ROBERTS Jonathan David (Fr)
Currently Assistant Curate in the benefice of Coppenhall (1706), in the Deanery of Nantwich, to be Vicar of the parish of Crewe St Barnabas (1709), in the Deanery of Nantwich, with effect from 5 November 2025.
UPTON Christina Phoebe (Tina)
Currently Rector at Chester Holy Trinity Without the Walls (0204), in the Deanery of Chester, to also be Honorary Canon in the seat dedicated to St Monica, at the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary at Chester; with effect from 12 October 2025.

RETIREMENTS
GALES Simon Richard
Currently Vicar of the Parish of Lindow (1407), in the Deanery of Knutsford, retiring with effect form 2 November 2025.
RIDLEY Andrew Roy
Currently Vicar of Northwich St Helen (Witton) (0618) and Priest in Charge of Lostock Gralam (0607), both in the deanery of Middlewich, retiring with effect from 30 November 2025.

Chaplain HMP YOI Thorn Cross, retired with effect from 30 September 2025
DEATHS
We are sorry to have to report the death of the following members of clergy. Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.
STAFFORD Dhenis Delaney
Revd Stafford was ordained in Chester Diocese in 2004 as Deacon, and in 2005 as Priest, serving his first curacy at St Thomas Norbury, in Chester Diocese, from 2004 – 2006. He then served a second curacy at St Mark Bredbury, in Chester Diocese, from 2006 – 2008 before he returned to his native South Africa. Mr Stafford was living back in the UK at the time of his death. Died 27 June 2025.
