Safeguarding Resources
National church resources
PCCs and Church charities are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protecting people from harm in a church setting. This includes safeguarding, but also includes other responsibilities, such as health and safety and HR responsibilities. A wide range of resources to support you can be found on the National Church website here
Parishes safeguarding resources (replacing the Parish Safeguarding Handbook) are under development and can currently be found here
Safe Spaces resources
Safe Spaces is the free, independent service for adult victims/survivors of church-based abuse. A poster and a leaflet from Safe Spaces can be downloaded below.
