National church resources


PCCs and Church charities are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protecting people from harm in a church setting. This includes safeguarding, but also includes other responsibilities, such as health and safety and HR responsibilities. A wide range of resources to support you can be found on the National Church website here


Parishes safeguarding resources (replacing the Parish Safeguarding Handbook) are underdevelopment and can currently be found here

Diocese of Chester
