Bishop's Adviser for Chaplains and Sector Ministers

Bishop's Adviser for Chaplains and Sector Ministers

Gill Reeve has been appointed as new Bishop's Adviser for Chaplains and Sector Ministers

Alongside her work as Senior University Chaplain at the University of Chester, Gill will work as part of the diocesan Ministry team to support all kinds of chaplaincy, with a particular focus on those who are licensed, employed or lead chaplains.

Bishop Mark made the appointment on Sunday, June 28th, right before the service at Chester Cathedral honouring chaplaincy throughout the diocese.

Gill said “ ‘I am excited to be taking on this new role and to start connecting with chaplains from across the diocese. There are many opportunities we might want to explore to raise the profile of chaplaincy and build supportive networks. If you are a chaplain in the diocese please feel free to get in touch with me”
