Death of former Diocesan Secretary, Revd Peter Mills

Peter served the Diocese of Chester as Diocesan Secretary during the 1990s, making a significant contribution to the life and work of the Diocese during that period.

Holy Cross, Woodchurch had been his spiritual home for more than 60 years, a place where he felt called to fulfil God’s will, a calling he embraced with great faithfulness and joy throughout his life and ministry.

We give thanks for Peter’s devoted ministry, his kindness, wisdom, and the many years of faithful service he gave to Holy Cross and the wider church community. He will be deeply missed. As we remember Peter, we pray for his wife Gwyneth, their 5 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
