Licensing of new Lay Ministers

A licensing service at Chester Cathedral on 11 October, welcomed new Lay Ministers, Pastoral Workers and Readers, and celebrated the ministries of Readers and Pastoral Workers receiving Permission to Officiate or retiring from active ministry

Bishop Mark has licensed 11 new lay ministers as Pastoral Workers or Readers. At the service at Chester Cathedral on Saturday 11 October, he also licensed three Readers transferring to new parishes, as well as celebrating the ministries of 13 Readers and Pastoral Workers either receiving  Permission to Officiate or retiring from active ministry.
