Taking political action

Image.jpg

Information from The National Environment officer on Jo Chamberlain on taking political action.

Ways to be involved:

Sign an open letter asking the UK government to Make Polluters Pay.

Ahead of the Mass Lobby of MPs in July, senior faith leader sent a letter to David Lammy and Rachel Reeves. Now a shorter version of this letter is available for anyone to sign.

Information about the letter is here, where you will find a link so you can add your name.

You can sign it yourself and share it with your networks.

Invite your MP to a National Emergency Briefing on the climate and nature crisis.

An event is being held in Westminster on Thursday 27 November, 9-11am, for all members of parliament in the House of Commons and House of Lords.

When this page goes live, you will be able to check whether your MP has accepted their invitation. If not, you can ask them to attend. You could even bring this up if you meet them during lobby week!
