The Revd Canon Simon Chesters
There has been an outpouring of shock and grief following the death of Simon Chesters, Director of Ministry and Bishops’ Advisor for Vocations who died on Monday 20 July.
We have been asked to share the arrangements for Simon’s funeral which will take place on Friday 21 August. There will be a private committal service in the morning followed by a service of thanksgiving at 1pm at St Mark’s Saltney.

For those attending in person at St Mark's church, we remind you again to please accept the wishes of the family not to wear clerical shirts or collars.

As we give thanks for Simon, for his life, ministry, and friendship, so we pray for all who grieve - for those closest to him, for those with whom he served and those whom he counted it privilege to serve - rest with your gentle peace and kindly presence.
