Celebrating the Season of Creation

The Season of Creation is a time of celebration, reflection, and action, uniting Christians around the world in prayer and commitment to care for God’s creation.
Running from 1 September to 4 October 2025, this season offers a chance to deepen our ecological awareness and respond faithfully to the climate and environmental crises of our time.
To support you in marking this special season, we’re excited to share a range of resources and events that are available across the Diocese of Chester.
Here's Jill Elston with a video update:

Let’s come together to honour God’s creation, take meaningful action, and walk more gently on the earth this Season of Creation.
