Ministry Toolbox - new bite-sized online training for clergy

Ministry Toolbox is a new series of hour-long, bite-sized, stand-alone sessions delivered for clergy via Zoom on weekday lunchtimes. Each session takes a practical approach to a specific area of leading in ministry and mission.
These are especially suited to those in their first post as an incumbent or those who are reaching that point, but any clergy are welcome to attend any session. Simply book via EventBrite for any topics that interest you. Sessions will include content and information, and time to interact and ask questions. Topics covered will include:
Leading Positive Safeguarding Culture
Working Well with Funeral Directors
Managing Time, Emails, Diary, Self, Others
Bad Habits at the Eucharist… And How to Resist Them
Managing Parish Finance
Working Well with Schools
Preaching Out of Season
Supervising Others
and more!
Â
Sessions will be led by a range of practitioners from within and beyond the Diocese of Chester. Each of the three bishops will lead one of the sessions. These times are intended to be a relaxed opportunity to brush up on key ministry skills, so grab a cuppa, switch on your camera, and join us in sharing and learning together.
Zoom links will be sent prior to each session to those who have signed up via EventBrite. Click here to book.
